Seafood production begins with a living resource. That makes restraint, careful selection and long-term operational decisions practical responsibilities—not campaign language.
Our approach is measured through the way we choose suppliers, manage certified supply chains, operate the Engure site and improve what can be improved.
01 / Responsible sourcing
Quality begins with the right supply relationships.
Raw materials are selected against the requirements of the product and supply programme. Diplomats works with established suppliers and develops relationships intended to support consistency, documentation and dependable planning over time.
Certification is used where it applies. It does not replace supplier assessment, material controls or the judgement required at intake.
02 / Marine resources
Healthy fisheries matter beyond the next catch.
Future seafood production depends on fish populations being managed for the long term. For applicable products and supply chains, MSC certification provides an independently assessed framework for responsible fishery and chain-of-custody claims.
We state that scope carefully: the MSC mark is used only where the product and supply chain are covered by the confirmed certification.

LNG in production
Liquefied natural gas is the primary production fuel. It is a comparatively lower-emission conventional industrial fuel, not a final destination.
Efficient technology
Investment decisions consider dependable production, resource use and the practical reduction of avoidable loss.
Long-life formats
Canned formats support dependable storage and distribution. Their long shelf life can help reduce premature food disposal when handled correctly.
These measures do not make production impact-free. They show where current operations have changed and where continued improvement remains necessary.

Responsible production must also protect the product.
Food safety, consistent quality and traceability reduce uncertainty and help prevent avoidable loss. At Engure, defined controls connect raw-material intake, production records, laboratory decisions, packaging and batch release.
Systematic food-safety controls are built into production.
Independent auditing examines the food-safety and quality-management system.
Claims apply only to products and supply chains within confirmed certification scope.
The facility maintains registration for applicable US commercial activity; registration is not product approval.
05 / Packaging
Improve the pack without weakening its purpose.
Packaging protects food through production, transport, storage and use. Any change therefore has to be assessed against food safety, shelf life, product quality and the realities of international distribution.
Our work is continuous: examine materials and formats, test what is practical, and improve where a change can be made responsibly. We do not claim that one format solves every impact.

SIA Unda is a long-term employer in Engure. Experienced specialists carry practical knowledge across production, quality, engineering and logistics, while new colleagues bring the skills needed for modern food manufacturing.
